The dog can 'sit' (after it has learned that you can teach it 'shake' and 'other paw'), 'lie down', 'go to bed', 'circle', 'sit up' (includes 'walk' and 'jump'), and 'roll over.' You can carry your dog too. You have to teach it the name that you gave it and then you can start other training. Once the dog has learned that, he will come whenever you call. Once the puppy comes home, you have to teach him/her the name that you have given them (you get to pick the name of your dog).
If you order from the catalog, you have to wait one week for the dog to arrive (which really is only a minute). The breeds that are included are the Miniature Dachshund, Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua, Labrador Retriever, Toy Poodle, Shiba Inu, Welsh Corgi, Miniature Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, Border Collie, Pomeranian, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retriever, Maltese, Papillion, Beagle, Mix, and French Bulldog. Using the catalog, you get to pick the breed, sex, and the color (some only come in one color). However, if they don't have the dog you want, you can order one from a catalog. But, remember, the dogs that are currently there are of a certain sex/gender and you don't get to pick the sex, you just have to try to find the one that is the sex you want. If you adopt one of the dogs that are currently there, you can view them (Put them in a room where you can pet them and call them) right away and then decide whether you want the dog or not. You can choose from the dogs that are already there or you can order them from a catalog. "I love this game!
